Hey Rocks Offers….
Our music editor, Rocks Off Sr., the big beard, my mentor, and professional big brother Chris Gray had a heart attack this morning and is currently in a medically-induced coma at Memorial Hermann. Please keep this brilliant young man in your prayers, as well as his brother and fellow Houston Press writer John Seaborn Gray. Our HP family is strong and filled with love, but would greatly appreciate the extra support right now.
Chris was one of the first writers to show me any real love in this town,and became a good friend a few years ago through an ex-boyfriend. This is the second friend of mine to have a serious health issue this week, and it’s really starting to fuck me up inside. I’m gonna try and keep positive thoughts, and hope that good things are on the way.
